Who I am

I am a photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. I shoot mainly in black and white.

My work involves documenting everyday life at Muizenberg beach, an ongoing long-term project. I have an interest in human movement, the connection between art and climate change, and how the practice of photography ties to mindfulness and mental health.

My approach to photography is mindful and gentle with an openness to learning more about myself and the world around me.

Outside of photography, I work as a communications consultant, editor, and science communication trainer. (Visit my site Human Element Communications to learn more about that side of my work).

I enjoy writing about what I’m learning about myself and the world through photography and share my insights at my blog.

I am always on the look out for collaborations and exhibition and speaking opportunities. If you’d like to connect please contact me.
